We talk to Haru Eto, renown photographer in Singapore, about his passion and experiences =)
Tell us more about you.
My name is Haru Eto, a 32 year-old from Singapore, and I’m a photographer
How did you start your career in photography?
My passion in photography began in 2012 when I was working for a fashion wholesale company and had to market the products. In order to do it on a regular basis within the budgets given to me, I started to learn the basics of photography from YouTube so we could cut cost.
Necessity breeds invention Who was your most memorable client, working as a photographer?
My most memorable client was one guy who decided that I shoot him nude, on the dayitself. It was not what we discussed beforehand and I totally rejected him, packed up and left.
Whoa, must have been awkward getting caught off guard like that.
Lets talk about ink. You’ve shot a lot of tattooed people. Do you enjoy it? Why?
I love art. To me, tattoos are art. I know of a lot of brides who hide their tattoos on their actual wedding day. I just wanted to show them how beautiful it is to be donned in a wedding gown with their tattoos.
We totally agree with you there. How do your clients react to your tattoos?
I get a lot of positive feedbacks from my facebook fans and I believe a lot of them share the same perspective as me.
That’s amazing. Well your pictures speak for themselves!
